Yes, you heard right. We're back. Perhaps a limited offer, perhaps not.. Lets see how the new arrangements work out. The last time you heard from us we'd just been on the receiving end of several (successful) website hacking attempts and a sustained denial of service attack. After a couple of months of frequent attacks, we understandably got a bit bored and found something more interesting to do. Now that some more of the more painful memories have faded (!) we're going to give it another go.. But, this time we're going decentralised!

In order to tune in you will need to install a piece of software called Streamer P2P, and this is quite different from the last time we broadcast. The idea behind this kind of broadcasting is that anyone listening to the stream rebroadcasts whatever they are listening to other users wanting to tune into the same stream. You can think of it like bit-torrent radio. Clever eh? Theres a proper explanation on the Streamer P2P website. We originally looked at decentralised streaming when we set up NeuralNET radio, but at the time went with a more traditional ShoutCast streaming solution because we had the bandwidth available. Now that we don't, we hope you don't mind installing the client. It's fully spyware, adware and everything elseware free and it's a small download too. StreamerP2P currently has a Windows client only, but I can testify that it runs stably under WINE (info on the HELP! pages) and a Linux Streamer P2P client is under development. Once you have installed StreamerP2P, click on 'List' and look for

Please let us know if you have problems setting up. In the left hand menu there are links to download the install program of Streamer P2P and an alternative ActiveX launcher - very useful for those times you can't install a client. The ActiveX link only works if you're running Windows and using Internet Explorer however.. There's a proper set of how-to's on the HELP! pages, but if you're having problems please ask for assistance!
